Ernest M. Hutchison Jr., 81, of Natrona Heights, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Ernest was born Dec. 26, 1936, in New Kensington, the son of the late Ernest M. Hutchison Sr. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a letter carrier at the Natrona Heights Post Office for 33 years. Ernest then worked at Vision Products, in Harwick, for 18 years. After that, he and his wife opened up their own doll clothier and furniture making business for 11 years. Ernest enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ernest is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia L. (Fenton) Hutchison; his children, Lynell (Chip) Young, of Upper Saint Clair; Paul Hutchison, of Natrona, Sharon Hutchison of Natrona Heights, Gavin (Elana) Hutchison and Renee (Greg) Morris, of Wilton, Conn. Ernest is also survived by his three stepsons, Dwight (Stacey) Rumbaugh, of Indianapolis, Ind., Lee Rumbaugh, of Brookville, and Hugh (Claudine) Rumbaugh, of Buffalo Township; and 10 grandchildren. There will be no public visitation and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Library of Allegheny Valley, 1522 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights, PA 15065.
