Irene was born Dec. 15, 1940, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Mary Belle (Bailey) and Edward H. Hazlett Sr. She was the widow of Ivan B. Longdon, who passed in 2012. Irene worked for many years with W.L. Roenigk School Bus and Transportation Co. in Sarver as a van driver for the children with special needs. She enjoyed camping, bingo and crossword puzzles. Irene is survived by her two sisters and their husbands, Jeannie and Mark Nesbit and Dianne and Barry Kamer, all of South Buffalo Township. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, Edward H. Hazlett Jr., who just passed in December 2018. To the Family:
Very sorry for your family’s loss. Please know that the “God of all comfort” (Psalm 83:18) knows and feels your pain. Exodus 3:7 He promises that one day soon, “death will be no more” at Revelation 21:3-5 and He provides a wonderful hope for our love ones who have died, that they can live again. John 6:40
We long to see that fulfillment soon. May you find comfort in God’s promises.
