Countryside Garden was sent by Tony and Beth Capillary.

Cousin Dot was more of an aunt than a cousin to me. She was a wonderful example of a giving Christian mother, wife, and friend. I will always treasure the memory of her happy heart, smile, and zest for life. I will see her again in eternity! Tony Capillary

Dear Walker Family,
We were so shocked and saddened to hear of the death of your mother. She and your father were truly gems in this somewhat lackluster world. We know she is now at peace but her dying leaves such a whole in all of our hearts.
Know we will be with you as you pray her home this Saturday.
We notified Margaret and Jimmy Roberts in northern England where your mom and dad stayed on their visit to the land of your grandparents' birth. They sent back the following email that I will include below our message to you all.
Love,
Gary & Rita Marvin

So sad to hear of Dot’s death. We had a Christmas card from Dot this year. I was thrilled to hear from her. Dot thanked us for all we had done when they were in Hebburn for long stay...we went to The Cistercian Abbey where Trevor is and loved it on Scottish Borders. We were at front of line on Newcastle Quayside to walk across new pedestrian Bridge from Newcastle to Gateshead and presented with certificates commemorating the event. I feel so honored she has written this past Christmas. (it was 2009 and 2011 when they were here.) I’m so upset to hear of her death. She must have known how ill she was when writing at Christmas. We will have a Mass at St. Aloysius Church in Hebburn. They were daily Mass goers there! Remember us to her Family. We are so sad! Rita and Gary we wish you A Happy St. Valentine’s Day today. Dot will be re-united with her beloved Len in Heaven!

My special Aunt Dot! She often beamed a beautiful smile at me from the time I was a little girl - at picnics, at her home when we visited, at card club and church functions. She was always there, always participating, always engaged and living life to her fullest. She had a can do attitude. I loved her orange cookies. I have the recipe and will make them and think of her. She was and always will be special to me and I know she is beaming that beautiful smile right now with her special valentine, Uncle Len. They were a match made in heaven! Love and prayers to my cousins in this difficult time.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to each member of Aunt Dot's family. She was an absolutely wonderful, cheerful person and she had a beautiful smile for everyone she came in contact with. She will be warmly remembered.
I have many fond memories of Aunt Dot and Uncle Len at summer picnics and family gatherings, and of them welcoming Dave to our family. Joyful days!

We enjoyed seeing Aunt Dot at Concordia on occasion (when visiting Fred), and hearing from her during our annual Christmas card exchange and family update. I will surely miss this ritual going forward.

To each of my cousins, spouses and children, you and your mother will be in our hearts and prayers during the funeral mass tomorrow. We will be with you in spirit and we send our love, support and sympathy.

Much Love,
Judy and Dave

To the Family:
May the God of comfort (Psalm 83:18) strengthen the family during this difficult time in your lives. Those who are sleeping in death ( John 11:11 ) God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Look forward to the fulfillment of the promises at Acts 24:15, “... there shall be a resurrection of the dead...”
