Gerald Thomas "Tom" Cramer, 62, of Buffalo Twp., passed away early Wednesday morning, May 22nd, peacefully, in his home after a long hard bought battle with cancer. He was born in Natrona Heights, on June 7, 1950, the son of the late Anna (Freude) and Gerald Cramer. Tom worked at Allegheny Ludlum for 37 plus years, retiring in 2006. He was a devoted family man to his two daughters, and he adored his two young grandsons. Family remember him as an active and energetic man who taught his daughters all sports. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and recently going to yard sales with his friend John. He was always planning then building a project and was a fix-it kind of guy. He loved biking to the gym, boating, and catch and release fishing. He enjoyed motorcycle riding since he was 22 years old. He also enjoyed cultivating mushrooms. Toby, his favorite cat, was Tom's proxy son.

Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carol Bozich; his 2 daughters Kelsey Cramer, of Wilmington, NC, and Amber (James) Pochedly, of Allegheny Twp.; 2 grandsons Jaxson Thomas and Hunter James Pochedly. His sisters Shirley (Don) Otwell, of Leechburg; Cathy (Richard) Simpson, of Vandergrift and Linda (John) Ortasic, of Tarentum. Cousins John and Henrietta Montgomery, of New Kensington; nephew John Bozich; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Cramer.

At the family's request there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Freeport, PA, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24th, 2013 with Fr. Raphael Glinkowski officiating.
