Virginia L. "Tina" Stanley, 66, of Buffalo Twp., passed away at 12:48 a.m., Friday, August 17th, peacefully, at her residence. Tina was born in Oakmont, on October 15, 1945, the daughter of the late Helen (Drummond) and Victor Murphy, Sr. She worked as a assembler at Emerson Process Management Plant in RIDC Park for 36 years, until retirement in 2003. Tina enjoyed working with stained glass, working around the house, and enjoying life.

She is survived by her companion of 36 years, James P. Wetmore with whom she lived; her 2 daughters Victoria L. "Sam" Sweitzer, of New Kensington, and Kimberly J. Stanley, of Greensburg; 2 step sons William Wetmore, of Norfolk, VA., and Michael Wetmore, of Apollo, and her step daughter Jeannie (Ken) Obringer, of Freeport. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren; Stephen, Samantha, Shannon and Sierra Sweitzer, and Aster Cepull-Stanley; great grandchild, Savannah Nicalet Sweitzer; 5 step-grandchildren, Courtney and Emily Obringer, and Michael, Amanda and Rachel Wetmore. step great-grandchild, Jacob K. Jordan; 2 brothers Victor Murphy, Jr., of Meadville, and Albert (Joann) Murphy, of Delmont.

Family and friends will be received on Monday August 20th from 2-5 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20th, with the Rev. Edd Myers officiating. Burial service will be private.
