Thomas P. Craig, 61, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Sunday, August 21st, unexpectedly, at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.

Thomas was born in Natrona Heights on September 25, 1949, the son of the late Vivian (Smith) and Cecil Craig.

Tom was a 1969 graduate of Lower Burrell High School. He was drafted into the army and served during the Vietnam War After his service to his country, he went to work as a die setter at Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Dept. 8-3 in Brackenridge for 31 years, retiring in 2005. After his retirement from the mill, Tom went to work for Walmart in Natrona Heights as a greeter. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. Tom enjoyed watching movies and hanging out with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy P. (VanDyke) Craig. 2 sons; Michael S. Craig, of Tarentum and Eric C. Craig, of Natrona Heights and his sister, Susan and Terry Rausch, of Natrona.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Craig who passed in 2007.

Family and friends are being received on Wed. August 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. Freeport, PA

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 25th, with Rev. James F. Neal officiating. Burial will be held at Union Cemetery in South Buffalo Twp, Freeport, PA.
