George R. Kepple, 95, of Sarver, passed away at 1:52 AM, Monday, July 18th, peacefully, at Fair Winds Manor. George was born in Natrona Heights, PA on August 2, 1915, a son of the late Wilma N. (Daughtery) and Roy W. Kepple. He is the widower of Betty (Brown) Kepple who passed in 1986.

He served in the US Navy in during WW II. After the War he went to work as a ladleman at Allegheny Ludlum Steel , dept. 8-3 for over 40 years retiring in 1982. George enjoyed hunting, vegetable gardening, traveling with family,

He is survived by his 3 sons George Robert (Barbara) Kepple, of Hereford, AZ., Ronald E. (Carol) Kepple, of South Buffalo Twp. and Fred P. (Valerie) Kepple, of South Buffalo Twp.;
His brother Robert Kepple, of Houston, TX and a sister Mary Wolfe, of West Minster, CA.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren

Family and friends are being received from 10 am to 12 p.m. on Wednesday July 20th in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at noon with the Pastor Nathan Bramlet of Amazing Grace Baptist church, Ford City officiating

Burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Lower Burrell, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to;
Three Rivers Hospice 313 Ford St. Ford City, PA 16226 or Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped Leonard C Staisey Bldg. 4724 Baum Blvd. Pittsburgh PA 15213

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Dad, Brother,Grandfather, and Friend. He was a wonderful man. He always made us laugh with his stories. I can still see his smile and hear his laughter.
