Mrs. Roberta W. Bennett, 61, of Buffalo Twp., was lifted up by the hands of her savior on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 while in the company of family members at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler, PA. She was a very strong willed and always positive person

Roberta was born in New Kensington, PA on August 20, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert and Erma (Read) Reed.

Roberta was a member of the Keystone Tall Tree Counsel. She was a past girl scout leader and a den mother. She and her husband were past disk jockeys for WYEP fm in Oakland. They also enjoyed participating in Civil War Reenactments. She enjoyed reading, blue grass music and dog grooming business. She and her husband attended the Sarver Free Methodist Church

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Alan D. Bennett. Her son, Sean (Dawn) Bennett of Buffalo Twp. and her daughter Faith (Jeff) Neff of Sewickley, PA; Brother Quentin (Barb) Reed of Rimer, PA, and her sister Jorja Hogg of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Abbey, Emily, Jordan, Brandon and Gino.

At the Roberta's request there will be no public visitation and there will be a private burial service.
