Mr. Charles F. "Moose" Shaffer, 67, of Allegheny Twp., passed away at 7:39 PM, Sunday, May 23rd, 2010 peacefully at his residence. Charles was born in Natrona, PA on November 1, 1942, the son of the late William O. and Bertha (Wolfe) Shaffer.

He worked for the Laborers Local # 952 in Kittanning for 30 years. He attended Faith Community Church in Freeport. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of a number of motorcycle clubs. He also old cars.

Charles is survived by his two daughters Charla (William) Kremer III of Lower Burrell and Alayna Shaffer of New Kensington. His sister Sally McAninch of Freeport. Three grandchildren; Nico and London Kremer and Nola Shaffer. He is also survived by his ex-wife Wendy (Robinson) Ezatoff.

He is preceded in death by his brother William Shaffer

A Memorial Service will take place in Faith Community Church of Freeport, at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 am, with Pastor Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial service will be held in Brookland Cemetery in Allegheny Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community Church 407 Freeport Rd. Freeport, PA 16229
