David E. "Wally" Schrecengost, 56, of Sarver, passed away at 9:22 p.m., Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 suddenly at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison Twp.,Mr. Schrecengost was born in New Kensington, PA on June 2, 1952, the son of the late Ray H. and Ruth (George) Schrecengost who survives him of Buffalo Twp.Wally worked as a mill right at Braeburn Steel Braeburn PA., for 33 yearsHe enjoyed going to gun bashes, hunting and shooting pool at the White Star Club in Buffalo Twp. He is survived by his sister: Judith Bradley of Natrona Heights, PA, 2 brothers: Ray H. (Sandy) Schrecengost, Jr. of Fawn Twp. and Ronald Schrecengost of Buffalo Twp.Wally is also survived by his 6 nieces, 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews.He is preceded in death by his 4 uncles and 5 aunts. Family and friends are being received on Thursday Sept 25 from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 High St. Freeport, PA A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 am on Friday, September 26th, with Rev James Gascoine of the Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Twp. officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Lower Burrell, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to White Star Fraternal Society 401 Shuster Dr. Freeport, PA 16229.
