Mr. Calvin K. Cramer, 82, of Freeport, passed away at 1:00 AM, Monday, July 7th, 2008 surrounded by his family at his home. Mr. Cramer was born in Natrona Heights, PA on June 27, 1926, the son of the late Harold and Genevieve Cramer who survives him of Indiana, PA.He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Freeport, PA 16229. He served in the US Navy as a Gunner's Mate 3/c in WW II. After his service to his country he went to work as a widow bender at PPG industries Creighton, PA., for 45 years, retiring in 1988. In the 45 years that he worked for PPG he never missed a day of work. Mr. Cramer was a member of the Freeport Eagles Club. He enjoyed gardening and being with his family. He was the widower of Charlotte M. (Kennedy) Cramer who passed on July 5 of 2007Calvin is survived by his 2 sons; Patrick Cramer of Warren, PA and Shawn Cramer of Freeport. His 2 daughters; Keli Pauli of Buffalo Twp. and Terri (Craig) Orris of Buffalo Twp..3 brothers: Edward Cramer of Tidioute, PA., Harold (Mary) Cramer of Galion, OH., George (Shirley) Cramer of Yuma, AZ. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his son Michael Cramer who passed on November 28th of 2007At Mr. Cramer's request there will be no visitation and a private family funeral service will be held .
