My expressions of sympathy to Esther's family, who are distant cousins. Esther and my maternal grand-father, Edward Earl MOWREY, were first cousins; Esther's mother, "Aunt Maude" and my grandfather's father, Edward MOWREY, were brother and sister. My mother, Dorothy (MOWREY) ROSS maintained contact with Esther until just a few years ago. We visited Esther and Dave at Stonehenge Apartments, Natrona Heights, when they lived there, and after Dave's death my mom and Esther stayed in contact by telephone. After Esther went into West Haven they lost personal contact; I called West Haven to speak to her but the staff said they could confirm that Esther was a resident there, but that she did not have a telephone. My mother sent her Christmas cards at West Haven, and she wanted me to locate and contact Barry to see where and how Esther was, but I did not know where to start to find him. My mother passed away last July, at age 87. I hope that the date and time of the memorial service at St. Paul's Church will be publicized because I would like to attend.
