Mrs. Loretta V. Brendlinger, 72, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away at 4:30 PM, Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 while in the company of family members at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison Twp. PA.Mrs. Brendlinger was born in Wasta, SD on July 19, 1935, the daughter of the late Reinhold and Rose (Helms) Denke.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Freeport, and a homemaker. Loretta was a member of the Kittanning VFW Ladies Aux. She was a member of the Alter Guild at her church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and traveling. She was the wife of Roy T. Brendlinger whom she was been married to for the past 53 years. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Rose (Briant) Knechtel of Fuquay Varina, NC. and Corina (Timothy) Trainer of Bethesda, MD. Her 3 sons; Arthur R. (Beth) Brendlinger of Worthington, PA., Shawn (Amanda) Brendlinger of Fairview, PA., Kurt (Jessica) Brendlinger of Freeport, PA.5 grandchildren; Lauren Mitnik of Penn Hills. Brian Launcker who is serving his country in Iraq, Jason and Mark Brendlinger of Worthington and Joshua Knechtel. Loretta is also survived by her 2 sisters and 3 brothers.She is preceded in death by her 5 brothers. Family and friends are being received on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. In the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 High St. Freeport A funeral service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeport, PA, at 10:00 am on Friday, October 5th, with Rev. James F. Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Slate Lick Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society PO Box 2305. Butler, PA 16003
