Raymond C. Armour, 82, of Buffalo Township, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, while in the company of family members. Ray was born July 22, 1933, in Freeport, a son of the late Ivalee (Spencer) and Edmond C. Armour. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After the war, he came home and went to work for Saxonburg Heat and Light and then for Peoples Gas for 47 years. He retired in 1994. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working in his yard. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eileen E. Armour; a daughter, Pamela (Tom) Reyer, of Deer Lakes; a brother, Harry L. (Christine) Armour, of Lower Burrell; a sister, Bernadine Armour, of Lower Burrell; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchilden. He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith R. and Kevin M. Armour; a brother, Ralph L. Armour; and a sister, Norma Jane Cleland. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport, PA 16229, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Park Chapel, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
