Ella  Mae Beale, 93, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 17th, peacefully, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.  Ella Mae  was born in South Buffalo Twp. on her family's farm  on November 9, 1922.  She was the  daughter of the late Irene A. (Watson) and John H. Hughes.  Ella was a long time member of Freeport United Methodist Church.  Ella Mae was a member Order of the Eastern Star.  She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed quilting, knitting, puzzle books and spending time with her family. 

Ella Mae is survived by  her husband of 72 years, Benjamin Harrison Beale.  Her three sons Larry (Beverly) Beale, of Oklahoma Boro., Thomas (Phyllis) Beale, of Butler Twp., Roger (Susan) Beale, of South Buffalo Twp. and her daughter,  Elaine (Scott) Beale, of South Buffalo Twp.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gary (Kelly) Beale, Michelle (Matthew) Baker, Chad (Nicole) Beale, Ben Beale & Lauren (Tod Virden) Beale.  Her great grandchildren, Cameron & Quinn Baker, Brayden Beale, Lacy & Margaret Postle and Bethany Fortuna.  Her is sister, Evelyn Stevenson of Butler and her brother Harold G. Hughes of Atlanta GA.  She is preceded in death by her brother, John Ralston Hughes.

Family and friends will be received on  Wed. Jan. 20th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc.  524 High St. in Freeport.

Funeral Service will be held at the Freeport United Methodist Church at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 21st,  with Rev. James Young officiating. 

Burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery Freeport, PA.
