Louise C. Stewart, 103, of Winfield Twp. passed away on Tuesday, July 12th, while in the company of family members, at Fair Winds Manor. Louise had lived in South Buffalo Twp. her whole life up until the the death of her husband. She then spent the rest of her years living in Freeport. Louise was born in South Buffalo Twp. on February 21, 1913, She was the daughter of the late Laura (Kuhns) and Charles B. Sweeny. Louise was the widow of William B. Stewart who passed in 1972. She was a wonderful homemaker and long time member of Srader Grove Presbyterian Church in South Buffalo Twp. Louise was a member of the South Buffalo Grange and South Buffalo Twp. Vol Fire Dept. Ladies Aux. In her late eighties and early nineties, she also volunteered her time to help deliver Meals on Wheels, to old people; as she would ironically refer to them. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, knitting, quilting, reading, watching all the Pittsburgh sports teams and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lamison, of South Buffalo Twp. Her 3 grandsons; Daniel & Cindy Lamison, Mark & Mary Lamison and Stewart Lamison. 8 great grandchildren; Molly & Andrew Allen, Megan Lamison, Brittany & Josh Emmick, Chloe, Christian, Robert, Emilee and Terry Lamison, her great great grandson, Kaiden Knox, and her two sisters-in-law; Jane Sweeny and Eleanor McMillin and several nephews and nieces. She is preceded by her son in law, James R. Lamison. Great grandson, Stewart B. Lamison, Jr. and her 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 14th from 9-11 am. in the fellowship hall at Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, 106 Brown Rd. in South Buffalo Twp. Funeral service will be held at 11 am following the visitation at the Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Mark Davis officiating. Burial will be held in McVille Union Cemetery in South Buffalo Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church 106 Brown Rd. Freeport, PA 16229. She sure was blessed with a GOOD LONG life, and lots of caring family and friends. She was one of a Kind, and will be truly missed. You have our deepest sympathy on your loss. Rest in peace Dear Louise.

So sorry for your loss, Nancy. Remembering Louise as your good Mom and never forgetting Bill as a man I very much admired. They put up with our young antics with grace and love. God rest their souls reunited once again.
