Scott S. Freehling, 36, of Saxonburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 28th, at Butler Co. Memoral Hospital. Scott was born in Natrona Heights, on March 3, 1980, the son of Margaret A. (Ziacik) and Samuel Freehling, both of Buffalo Twp. Scott was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Twp. Scott enjoyed watching the Steelers and Penguins, working on computers and loved his 3 dogs Honey, Alice and Cliff. He is an organ donor giving to someone in need, his final gift, his final deed. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Lyndsay Freehling; a very special aunt Barb Ziacik; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held in Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Rd. Sarver, on Saturday July 16th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Rob Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Butler County Humane Society 1015 Evans City Road Renfrew, PA 16053 or to Zion United Methodist Church 438 Bear Creek Rd Sarver Pa 16055

Sam & Margie: I just recently received this news. It has been many years since we talked but so sorry to hear of your loss. I recently lost my son Patrick, age 21, in a boating accident. Losing a child is not natural and not a club you ever want to join. May you remember the good times together with Scott. Mark
