Kirkland. Lynn was a 1974 graduate of Burrell High School. After graduating, Lynn took a job at Oberg Industries. After 41 years of service, Lynn was the director of operations at the company's Freeport plant. He approached every day with a positive attitude and demonstrated exemplary work ethic that will be remembered by all who knew him. Lynn was an avid motorcyclist and had raced professional Motocross for many years - No. 857. He passed his love of two wheels on to his sons and loved to watch them ride and race. He enjoyed traveling all over the country with his boys to Pro Supercross and Motocross races. Lynn is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda (Kuhlman) Kirkland; and his two sons, Cameron and Tahlon Kirkland; also his brother, James Kirkland; his two sisters, Harriett (David) Archibald and Jill (Bobby) Berger; his mother-in-law, Marie Kuhlman; and his sister-in-law, Janet (Tom) Lyons. Lynn is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Edward Kuhlman. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot. Lynn's love and dedication to his wife, Linda, and his sons will always be cherished. He touched so many throughout his life and his legacy will live on forever. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 22, in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport. I worked with Lynn for many years at Oberg Ind and he will be sadly missed. His work ethic and value was unprecedented, as he was a key element in making Oberg Ind what it is today. His family should be extremely proud of Lynn's accomplishments and contributions to the Oberg Team. With our deepest sympathy, the Hedfors Family.

Although I have always been a customer with Lynn, through the many years he has turned our business relationship into a friendship. He was truly kind hearted, genuine and a man of many words and good laughs. Conversations would always lead into his family and trips they took, and if you knew Lynn, he was very passionate about his family, about his job, about his Steelers and about his motocross. This world has lost a great one and heaven has gained. With our deepest sympathy and heavy heart, the Albright family.

My sympathy to the Kirkland family at this most difficult time. My path crossed with Lynn's several times over the past 20 years in different capacities. He was always smiling and interested in the latest technology being offered that could benefit Oberg Industries. I will miss him. God Bless Lynn..... God Bless.

I had the pleasure of working with Lynn on projects at Obergs. He was always pleasant and easy to work with. He was able to get the job done but always valued time to discuss matters of the heart, family, and friendships. Our deepest sympathy to Lynn's family at this time.

Although I did not know Lynn personally, I work with Harriett (Sister). Harriett has always spoken so fondly of Lynn that I wish I would have known him. I know the kind of person Harriet is, and I know Lynn was of the same mold.
Your entire family has my deepest sympathies on this very sad occasion.
