Lucille, We are sincerely saddened by your loss. You and Henry had a wonderful life together and I'm sure you now have a vacuum in your life. What a privilege it has been to minister to Mr. Shilling. I so appreciated his many prayers he offered for me when I would visit him. What a faithful servant and witness for Christ. Lucille, my sympathy and prayers are with you. What a faithful wife to Henry and a beautiful testimony of God's grace you have been. Mr Shilling has graduated the earth--he has finished the course and I know he has moved on to eternal life. May God's grace be with you during this time. With Care and Prayer, Chaplain Sue

Lucille: My heart was so sad to learn last night of the Home going of Henry Clay. Oh, I am not SAD for him because he is in a "far better" place. But my heart aches for you and your GREAT LOSS. You and Henry were so close, and what a HUGE empty place there is now in your heart and life. I know from personal experience that God, however, will comfort and sustain you. How wonderful to realize that Henry Clay has now left his mortal, wheel-chair bound body BEHIND --- to be new in every way again. Only Eternity will reveal all that he accomplished in his life time. It has been the privilege of the Jones Family to know the Shilling Family since back in the 1940's and to minister there at Transylvania many times. I am so glad you have a SOLID ROCK to which to cling--"IN TIMES LIKE THESE."

Lucille: I remember with great pleasure the days we spent together on the Board of TRANSYLVANIA B. S. Henry was way out ahead of my thinking about how to deal with the electric company if you recall that episode. I have thought and talked about TBS often over these many years past. It is wonderful knowing that we will all be reunited around that great throne where Henry now shouts hallaleuia. Till then, know I'm thinking of you as you miss your partner. In Christ's love, John Merryman
