Morgan...To you and your dad, my sincere sympathy. The sadness of "passing" comes from no longer having with us the physical presence of someone we love very much. And when a mother passes, the pain of separation is even greater, because mother and child share a unique bond. Fortunately for us, however, we believe that the word "passing" means going from this stage of existence to another. Perhaps what I have done since my own mother passed will be a comfort to you. Believing that she still exists, I speak with her almost every day--especially on days that are difficult. I feel her presence and her strength. I pray that you, too, will always feel the presence of your mom...and her love and concern. Go forward, Morgan. Be what you can be. It seems to me that it is the best way to honor your mom. She is with you as God is with you...always and forever.

Scott and Morgan,
Anna and I wish you our deepest sympathy for your loss. Laura was so kind to me at a very difficult time in my life. She made me feel like I belonged, and went out of her way to make sure I could dive as much as I needed to - a much needed therapeutic escape for me. Pure class on her behalf. May she rest in Peace in God's grace.
