Evelyn was born in New Kensington on March 10, 1934, a daughter of the late Ethel (Fishpaw) and John Geiger. She was the widow of Rudy Bresuciak, who passed away in 1998. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church New Kensington, where she was a sacristan at the church for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Mark Nulph) Arvay-Nulph, of New Kensington; and her son, John Bresuciak, with whom she lived. She is also survived by 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons, her sister Eleanor McCurdy of NC, and 3 nieces.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers William and Joseph Geiger; nephew Gary McCurdy, son-in-law Bernard Arvay, and brother-in-law Frank McCurdy.

At Evelyn's request, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lower Burrell.
