Lucille J. Hoover, 88, of Cabot, passed away on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 peacefully, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Lucille was a long time resident of Buffalo Twp. Lucille was born in Butler on May 9, 1930, She was the daughter of the late June (Campbell) and Wilbur Q. Turner. Lucille was the widow of Richard Dale Hoover, who passed in 2012. Lucille was a 1948 graduate of Concord Township High School. She received a business degree from Butler Business College. Lucille worked as a teller at the Pittsburgh National Bank in Butler for 27 years. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver. Lucille was a volunteer with the Freeport Area Meals on Wheels for many years. She is survived by her brother in law, Harry I. (Patricia) Hoover, sister in law, Shirley A. Hewitt, stepson, Thomas Hoover, stepdaughter, Patty Hoover and numerous nieces and nephews. At Lucille's request there will be no public visitation and a private burial service will be held at the Concord Cemetery in Hooker, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Freeport Area Meals-On-Wheels 211 4th St, Freeport, PA 16229

My husband Doug & I knew Lucy and Dale a long time from choir at church. They were both so much fun to be around and Lucy always had a smile on her face. She will be missed.

I have known Lucy since 1957 in Hooker, she was a very lovely person and our families had many happy times together. My love and prayers are with you at this time.

My condolences to my relatives in Pennsylvania.... I was glad to call Er my aunt and was so happy to see her when the came to Corpus with my Uncle Dale and Aunt Shirley... she was so sweet and very unique... cute but very cute... sorry we could not see each other more often... will miss her ... love you Aunt Lucille7
