I knew Beatriz from Tae Kwon Do. We were partners many times and enjoyed each other's company. She was a modest and humble woman who did not boast of her many achievements. There is a line in our TKD #22 of Tao Te Ching that reads, "Not boasting, they receive recognition." This obit paid her the recognition she so truly deserved. God bless you, Beatriz, and may flights of angels sing you to your rest.

Otto (and family),

It has been my privilege to have made yours and Beatriz’s acquaintance at Camp Se Jong over the past several years. Writing this post brings back fond memories of past conversations. Beatriz appeared to have a spirit that would embrace life. In a similar fashion, I hope all that have had the pleasure of meeting her may do likewise by imitating Beatriz and embracing life.

My deepest sympathies for your loss.
