Clarice - This is a quote from Dan. He posted it to me when Angelo passed. I've never forgotten it. It is appropriate that I insert Dan's name, as I'm sure he would approve. I hope it gives you the comfort it gave to me.

"Dan was a good man who was deeply (almost obsessively) in love with you. He is missing you as much as you are missing him."

My heartfelt blessings for all of Dan's family. To Marilyn a special thought. Thank you for contacting me through Randy Rupp. Dan was such an intellect, it was an honor to be in his circle of friends those many years ago. While we lost touch, I knew we were eternally connected. I look forward to being at his memorial service. Please contact me if there is anything I can do. And I sent John (Jack) Wilson a message. Now to get him to read it. While I have a definite sadness at the news of Dan's departure, it does give me an opportunity to remember him as he was. "A right jolly old elf."

To the Families, my thoughts go out to you. I believe the last time I saw Danny was at Jean's funeral. I was surprised to see him smoking a pipe. Why (?) he was of age (difficult to believe that much time had gone by). I remember the good old days of Sunday School, Church, youth meetings, and parties at the Belknap United Church of Christ. And, knowing Danny, I can understand his final donation. God Speed Danny!!!
