Benjamin Harrison Beale, 95, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 1st, peacefully, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
 
Ben was born on the family farm in South Buffalo Twp. on April 28, 1922.  He was the son of the late Myrne Marie (Harrison) and Richard B. Beale.  Ben was the widower of Ella Mae (Hughes) Beale who passed just last year.  He was employed as a switchman for North Pittsburgh Telephone Co. in Wexford for over 30 years and retired in 1985.  He was a member of Freeport United Methodist Church. 
Ben was a member of the F & A.M. Armstrong Lodge #239 in Freeport.  He enjoyed hunting, farming, gardening and spending time with his family.
 
Ben is survived by his 3 sons; Larry and Beverly Beale of Oklahoma Boro, Thomas and Phyllis Beale of Butler Twp., Roger and Susan Beale of South Buffalo Twp. and his daughter, Elaine and Scott Morrison, of South Buffalo Twp.  Grandchildren; Gary (Kelly) Beale, Michelle (Matthew) Baker, Chad (Nicole) Beale, Ben Morrison & Lauren (Tod) Virden. His great grandchildren, Cameron & Quinn Baker, Brayden & Aubrey Beale, Lacy & Margaret Postle and Bethany Fortuna.  Ben is also survived by his sister, Joanne Arnold of Natrona Heights.
 
He is preceded in death by his sister, Olive McCrea and his brother Robert A. Beale
 
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 4th in the Freeport United Methodist Church in Freeport, PA  with Pastor Dawn Lynn Check officiating.  Burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery Freeport, PA.
