My sincere sympathy to your family. Whenever I smell flowers at Easter, I still think of Fern and the sweet smell of the flowers she sold from the front porch of your home on 5th St. each Easter season. What an enterprising and friendly person. Paul White, Sarasota, FL

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you! She was a very special and dear lady. I knew her all my life. She was a beautiful seamstress who I used and so many other people did also.

Pat and Joyce Ralston

Dear Carol, Larry, and family,

Pat and I extend our sincere sympathy upon the death of your mother, Fern. She was a strong, hard working woman, and just loved being out and about in Freeport. I, too, remember the beautiful flowers that she sold at Easter. Fern and I worked together in the Freeport Firemen's Auxiliary. She was pleasant to be around. She had such love for you, Carol, and was very proud of all of your accomplishments.

God Bless her. She will be missed.

Joyce and Pat Ralston
