Dolores M. Boroski, 85, of Leechburg, formerly of Freeport, passed away Saturday, January 18th, peacefully, at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Harrison Twp. She was born in Natrona, on March 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Pauline (Stanczak) and Walter Krukowski. Dolores was the widow of Floyd P. Boroski who passed in 2010 after 62 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Freeport, where she was also a member of the Christian Mothers. Dolores cooked and prepared lunches for the students at the former St. Marys School. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Dolores enjoyed knitting, playing bingo, crocheting, and word puzzles.

She is survived by three sons Richard (Barbara) Boroski, of Leechburg, Ken (Debbie) Boroski, of Freeport, and Tom (Kim) Boroski, of South Buffalo Twp.; her daughter Sandy (Richard) Kapustik, of Crossville, TN; 11 grandchildren Melissa Burton, Michelle (Paul) Walterhoefer, Rodney Boroski, Laura Jean (Patrick) Rabikow, Travis Boroski, Kristie Zimmerman, Sarah Vivian, Courtney Boroski, Allison Boroski, Jerrica Boroski, and Samantha Boroski; 11 great grandchildren, and her brother John Krukowski, of Trenton, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Amanda Marie Boroski, brother George Krukowski, and sister Jane Savage.


Family and friends will be received on Monday January 20th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. A parting prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 am that will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Freeport, at 10:00 am on Tuesday January 21st with Father Edward Volz officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeport.
