Donald W. Tantlinger, 84, of Freeport passed away on Monday, November 18th, peacefully, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. He was born in Freeport, on July 14, 1929. He was the son of the late Mary A. (Capillary) and Floyd A. Tantlinger, Sr. Don served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a clerk at the Freeport Post Office for over 30 years, and had previously worked at Braeburn Steel, and Carmelo's Supermarket in Freeport. Don enjoyed golfing, bowling, and crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times crossword puzzle.

He is survived by his sister Dolores C. Walker, of Cabot; 10 nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Stella Tantlinger, of Tarentum. Donald was preceded in death by his brothers Robert J. Tantlinger and Floyd A. "Jack" Tantlinger, Jr., and his brother-in-law Leonard Walker.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday November 20th from 10 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 524 High St. Freeport. with Fr. Raphael Glinkowski officiating. Burial service will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA.
