Rose M. Rimer, 63, of Lower Burrell, PA, passed away peacefully at 5:39 p.m., Friday, September 21st, at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Rose was born in Pittsburgh on November 10, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Philomena (Babuscio) and John Anthony Gauger, Jr. Rose was a member of Springdale United Presbyterian Church in Springdale. Rose served as deacon and was currently serving as an elder in her church. She worked as a contract administrator for ABB Electronic Process for 32 years. Rose was an elder at her church for many years. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her loving companion of 5 years, Jeff Mrozek. Her two daughters; Pamela J. Rimer, of Harmar and Darla and Matthew Petrich, of West Deer. 2 sisters Jackie Abeyta, of Colorado Springs, CO. Phyllis (Dave Singer) DeVinzio, of Shadyside, OH. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Maxwell and Jack Petrich and Sydney White.

Family and friends will be received on October 2nd 2012 from 3-4 p.m. in the Springdale United Presbyterian Church in Springdale. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. in the church with the Rev. David L. H. Carlisle officiating. Burial will be held in the Deer Creek Cemetery in Cheswick.
