Dear Beverley and Dominic,

Another fine man from Freeport has left us all too soon. You and the entire Ravotti family are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Bobby was a shining example of warmth, friendship and dedication to family and community. His service to the Borough of Freeport for so many years as Mayor and as a volunteer with Freeport Volunteer Fire Department helped make Freeport a better place. We thank Bobby for that service and for his military service in Vietnam, fighting for our freedoms. Albert Einstein said "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwile." Bobby lived his life in that way and you should all be proud.

Take comfort in fond memories past and the faith that Bobby is at peace in His eternal kingdom. Well done, old friend. Rest in peace.

Our Love,

Paul and Cyndee White

We've only known Mayor Ravotti for the last five of his 28 years in office, as we are still "new" to Freeport. He is a man to be revered for his dedication to public service, and for taking such personal responsibility for our borough's safety.

Bob McCafferty

So very sorry to hear that Bob has passed. I have not seen him for many years due to my move to Nevada. I keep up with news via the online newspaper. I was very saddened to read about Bob but I smiled everytime I read about how much Bob has done for Freeport. My best memories of Bob was from years ago when I played on the Chargers, Freeport's Midget Football team. Bob was one of the coaches and he was just always so enthusiastic and helpful. Occasionally over the years I would see Bob at the fire station or somewhere else in town. He always had that same big permanent smile on his face. I will always remember him for that.
