Mr. John E. Baker, 77, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away at 11:27 PM, Thursday, June 21st, 2007 while in the company of family members at Armstrong Co. Memorial Hospital, East Franklin, PA.Mr. Baker was born in Sarver,Buffalo Twp.PA on August 16, 1929, the son of the late John Lynn and L. Pearl (Brewer) Baker.He was a member of Srader Grove United Presbyterian Freeport, PA 16229. He worked as a Heating and Air Conditioning Technician for 45 years Retired in 1992. John enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen L. (Baker) Baker. His son, David Jack (Carolyn) Baker of Kiski Twp. and his daughter, Barbara (Richard) Snyder of Crowansville, PA. Two grandsons, James (Jennifer) Baker of Vandergrift and Brian (Becca) Baker also of Vandergrift. He is also survived by 2 Great grandchildren, Dakota Leigh and Richard Jack Baker2 Brothers Robert L. (Margie) Baker of Natrona Heights., Fred (Janice) Baker of Rockledge, FL.Family and friends are being received on Sunday 6/24 from 7-9 pm. and Monday 6/25/ from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 High St. Freeport, PAA funeral service will be held at the Srader Grove United Presbyterian, South Buffalo Twp, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 26th, with Lay Pastor, Lloyd Riggle officiating. Graveside Services will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park Lower Burrell, PA.
