Carole D. Bartley, 64, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Sunday, March 6th, while in the company of family members, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.  Carole was born in Kittanning on September 7, 1951.  She was daughter of the late Ruth Marie (Klingensmith) and William E. J  Burns. Carole had worked for a number of years as a nurses aid for Fair Winds Manor in Sarver.  She had also ran a daycare service for many years.  Carole loved to spend as much time as she could with her 2 grandsons, doing puzzles, playing games and just being "Grandma"
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Tammy Bartley, of Natrona Heights and Billie  Jo Bartley, of Herman.  Her brother, Wayne (Kimberly) Burns, of Pelion, SC; Sister, Ruth Ann (Doug) Cloutman, of Sarver and her sister in law, Nancy Burns, of Goldsboro, NC. She is also survived by her 2 grandsons, Coltin & Tanner Bartley and numerous nieces & nephews.
She is preceded by her brother, William L. Burns.  Her nieces, Amanda Jo Burns and her nephew, Wayne C. Burns.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday March 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St., Freeport.  Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 9th,  with her brother, Wayne Burns officiating.  Burial will be held in Brookland Cemetery, Leechburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carole's daughter, Tammy Bartley c/o Redmond Funeral Home Inc.  524 High St. Freeport, PA 16229

Tammy and Amy, so sorry for the loss of your mother and aunt. I know there is nothing for me to say that will make your loss easier but know that I am sending you my love and support. You will both be in my prayers. Love you both.
