Age 84 of Port Orange, Florida, formerly Phyllisfae Jane Grafton of Sarver, PA, passed away on April 14, 2015, to be with the Lord. She was the beloved wife and companion of her husband, Charles H. Clark, and they recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary together. Phyllis was born in Leechburg, PA on October 16, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Garnett (Coleman) Grafton and grew up in Bagdad, Pennsylvania. Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving sister, Betty Cadamore and her husband, the Most Reverend Dr. Harry Cadamore. She leaves behind her three children, Kathleen Clark Gingery and her husband, J. K. Gingery, Charles K. Clark and his wife, Melinda Koch Clark and Candice Clark Fennell and her husband, Daniel Fennell; also surviving are her seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. After a successful and satisfying 25 years as a florist in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, a former president of the Women in Business organization and extremely influential leader and participant in numerous church and ministry events, she and her husband retired to Florida. Of course, never truly intending to retire or slow down, she worked with her husband in the office of the Mannheim Auto Auction as well as having time to become instrumental in organizing and building a new Church of the Nazarene in Port Orange, Florida. Even after battling Lupus for over one-third of her life, she was a true pioneer. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. The call by the Lord was graciously accepted. Her presence will truly be missed, but her love and guidance will be cherished forever. Visitation will begin on Friday, April 24, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport. Funeral Services will be held in the Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Rd. in Lower Burrell on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Janis Bracken, officiating.
