Thomas J. Rykaceski, Jr., 73, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 peacefully, at Butler Co. Memorial Hospital in Butler.  Thomas was born in Natrona Heights on October 19, 1942.  He was the son of the late Eleanor J. (Bertiotti) and Thomas J. Rykaceski, Sr.  Tom was a 1961 graduate of Freeport High School.  He had work as a fabricator for Lectromelt Corporation.  Tom was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport.  Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, model trains and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his 2 daughters:  Kelley Rykaceski Smith of Phoenix, AZ and Shannon S. (Kevin) Huth of Surfside Beach, SC.  He is also survived by his 2 grandchildren: Jessica Rykaceski and Joshua Luchesa.

 Family and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, May 5th in the St. Mary Mother of God Church in Freeport.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary, Mother of God Church at 11:00 am on immediately the visitation,  with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating.  Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA.
