Philip A. Bordonaro, 77, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 16th, surrounded by family, at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot. Phil was born in Natrona Heights, on August 5, 1939, a son of the late Helen (Guyer) and Philip Bordonaro. He served in the U.S. Army as a draftsman, and was stationed in Germany in the early 1960's. He owned and operated the Parkview Bar & Grill in Brackenridge for 10 years. He later worked as a machinist at Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge for 20 years. Phil was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. He was also a member of the Tarentum Eagles and Elks. Phil enjoyed bowling, golfing, shooting pool, going to casinos, and playing cards and euchre with his friends at the Elks. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the Steelers and Pirates with his grandkids.

Phil is survived by his wife of 51 years Kathleen (Mastrocinque) Bordonaro; two daughters, Gina (Jeffrey) Jones, of South Buffalo Twp. and Sherri (Scott) Wolfe, of Freeport; and his son, Keith (Dawn) Bordonaro, of Allison Park. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren Jason, Deanna, Joe, Tori, & Luke Jones and Alex, Matt, & Emily Wolfe; and his sister Sally Dudzinski, of Brackenridge. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Bellan and brother John Bordonaro.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday July 18th, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc 524 High St. Freeport. A parting prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19th with Father John Euker officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeport.
