Charles Allen Gorgas, Jr., 58, of South Buffalo Twp, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 unexpectedly, at his home. Charles was born in Natrona Heights on February 21, 1962, a son of Clara (Bryan) Gorgas, of South Buffalo Twp. and the late Charles Allen Gorgas, Sr. Charles was a 1980 graduate of Freeport Area High School. Charles enlisted in the US Army. After his honorable discharge, Charles took a job at the Sony Corp. of America plant in Greensburg, PA. Charles enjoyed working on cars and all things mechanical. In addition to his mother, Charles is survived by his siblings, Thomas A. & Stephanie Gorgas, of Tarentum; Kathy Gorgas, of York, PA; Gloria & Mike DeMeno, of Freeport; Betty & Scott Fitzgerald, of Freeport; David Lee Gorgas of Butler; Richard M. "Butch" Gorgas, of New Kensington and Kevin W. Gorgas of South Buffalo Twp. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and one great niece a great nephew. At the family's request there will be no visitation and a burial will be held in McVille Union Cemetery in South Buffalo Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Freeport Food Bank 312 High St. Freeport, PA 16229
