Albert G. “Bud” Seitam, 77, of North Apollo passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at his home. Bud was born in the Butler Junction section of Freeport, PA on April 28, 1944, a son of the late Domenica (Burlando) and George Mario Seitam. He was a 1963 graduate of Freeport High School. He served in the US Army as a Specialist with the 69th Engineering Battalion during the Vietnam War. After serving his country and receiving his honorable discharge, Bud came back home to Freeport. He worked at Gulf Research/U-Park in Harmar Twp. for the next 37 years, retiring in 2005. Bud was an active member of his church family. He served as an usher for many years and worked on the church building and grounds committee. Bud enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, woodworking and his Friday night card games with his friends. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lucille D. "Lucy” (Fleming) Seitam, four daughters, Wendy Church and husband Michael Freeman of Pittsburgh; Amy and Michael Mrochek of Leechburg; Angela and Matthew Young of Apollo; Chrissy and Jeremy Ament of Lower Burrell and son, Eric Church and Christan White of Buffalo Twp. His grandchildren, Jacob Mrochek (Shelby Bryan), Lauren Mrochek; Ben, Luke, Aniyah, Serenity and Tamryn Young; Tyler Bud Ament, Cara Schantz, Caden Adams, Alyssa Ament, Kristen Ament, Jackson Ament; and Jack White. Bud is also survived by his two brothers, Frances (Lois) Seitam of Sarver, Douglas (Grace) Seitam of Freeport, and his sister, Patricia Davis of Natrona Heights. He is preceded in death by sister Donna Nagy and his brother-in-laws, Eugene Nagy and William Davis. Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 4th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the North Apollo Church of God, 507 20th Street, North Apollo, PA 15673. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at the church from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will begin at 11 am with Pastor Robert Shallenberger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Apollo Church of God, 507 20th Street, North Apollo, PA 15673.
