Allan F. Stokes, husband of Linda Woods Stokes passed away on November 22, 2024 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on October 25, 1948 to the late Floyd O. Stokes and G. Marcella Bable Stokes in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was employed by PPG Industries where he served as the Director of Production services. Mr. Stokes served as an elder at GracePoint Church in Richmond, Kentucky. He enjoyed boating, fishing, bowling and golfing and loved going on family vacations to Quebec, Canada. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Michael R. Stokes (Dana); one daughter, Nikki Steiner; grandchildren, Jonathan Stokes (Kaylen); Mitchel Stokes, Madelyn Stokes and Jacob A. Steiner (Morgan); great grandchildren, Benson Stokes and Lenore Stokes; one sister, Marsha Spooner (John); one sister in law, Shirley Schickline; one brother in law, Thomas Kline as well as several nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree St. NE Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309, or to GracePoint Church, 100 Cardinal Drive, Richmond, KY 40475.
