Betty A. (Volek) McKinney-Jack

Betty A. McKinney-Jack 86, of Cadogan passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023. Betty was a long time resident of Freeport. Betty was born in Cadogan on March 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Mary (Driehciare) and Michael Volek. Betty was a 1954 graduate of Ford City High School. She worked for many years as a secretary at the Freeport Elementary School. Betty was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate fan. She enjoyed watching golf on TV, playing bingo and spending time with her friends at Morgan & Clyde's Saloon in Cadogan. Betty is survived by her husband, Charles Jack. Her two sons David M. & Susan McKinney, of Rock Hill, SC and Brian A., & Wendy McKinney, of Taylors, SC. Grandchildren, Phillip (Kayla) McKinney, Kyle McKinney, Alison Price, Christian McKinney and fiancé' Jamira, Kaitlyn McKinney. 4 great grandchildren, Conner, Cameron, Seven and Astor. Betty is also survived by two sisters, Rande Volek, of Ford City; Dorothy Kijowski, of Ford City; Two brothers, Andre & Elaine Volek, of South Buffalo Twp.; John & Elsie Volek, of Ford Cliff. Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, David E. McKinney. Her son, Sean Paul McKinney and 8 brothers and sisters. At the family's request there will be no public visitation and the burial will be private.
