Brooklyn L. Meckley, 29, of Allegheny Twp., passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2024. Brooklyn was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 6, 1995, a daughter of the late Sandra (Sberna) and David (Michelle) Meckley Jr., of Freeport. Brooklyn was a 2013 graduate of Freeport High School. She was a member of Alive Community Church in Sarver. She was a CNA for 12 years and was currently employed at the Longwood at Oakmont. Brooklyn's dogs were her life, and she was the proud dog mom to Tank & Daizy. She also enjoyed watching all the Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers and Penguins. Brooklyn unconditionally loved her siblings and family; they meant everything to her.
Besides her father, Brooklyn is survived by her brothers Brady Meckley and his fiance Celeste, of Waynesboro and Austin Matthews, of New Castle, her sister, Madysin Meckley, of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Diane Flavin and paternal grandmother, Deborah Meckley.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather David Meckley Sr., maternal grandfather Mike Flavin, and the love of her life Andrew Perratone.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 28th at Alive Community Church, 106 N Pike Rd, Sarver, PA 16055 with Pastor Dave Roddy officiating.
