Candace Clinch David, 76, of South Buffalo Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Candy was born in Mount Vernon, NY on November 11, 1946, a daughter of the late Virginia Katherine (Danford) and Allan Manning Clinch. She was the widow of Raymond D. "Slugger" David who passed in 2019. Candace had an incredible work ethic with a passion for the law, entrepreneurship, and real estate. She was a Legal Secretary for over 40 years assisting several prestigious law firms in Akron, Ohio, Elyria Ohio and New Kensington Pennsylvania. Owned and operated several businesses: Candy’s Ice Cream Parlor (Elyria OH) and Sisters Three and Me (Freeport PA) and was a Real Estate agent for Apro Reality (Leechburg PA). Candace enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing golf, spending time with her family, a puzzle enthusiast, beating everyone in Scrabble and advocating for several local animal rescues. While her family and friends will miss her incredibly, we celebrate that she will once again be reunited with the love of her life Raymond. Candy is survived by her daughter, Kelly Ann Dunn, and her fiancé Jeff Huber, of Troutman, NC and her son, Scott Thomas Dunn & Jeanie Faiola, of Akron, OH. Sisters Vicki Kepnes and Denise Kendel-Stewart & Neal Stewart, brother-in-law Thomas Brown and many nephews and nieces throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond Dale David. Her sister, Penelope Clinch Brown. Brother, Frank Allan Clinch, Brother-In-Law, Charles Kepnes and Great niece, Melissa Kepnes. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, December 10th at Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. A private family burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Park Lower Burrell, PA.
