Carl M. Stanko

Carl M. Stanko, 78, of Freeport, formerly of New Kensington, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. He was born on April 29, 1946 to the late Michael L. Stanko and Mary E. (Kaczmarczyk) Stanko. Carl was a graduate of Ken High School. He worked at Permaform, Shop-N-Save and Mac Power Electric. He was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa, New Kensington. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He is survived by his sister, Dolores M. Austin, a niece, Angela (Clint) Fielder, two nephews, Clinton (Dionne) Austin and Christopher (Holli) Austin, and great nieces and great nephews, Grayson, Caden, Garrett, Amara, Denali, Mia and Dante. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Stanko. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 6-8 pm at the Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 524 High Street, Freeport. A blessing service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Kensington.
