Carol Cyphert Obituary

Carol S. Cyphert, 78, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, while surrounded by her family, at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot. Carol was born in New Kensington, PA on August 2, 1943, a daughter of the late Virginia L. (Sweitzer) and Donald L. Coffman. She was the widow of Thomas Wesley "Wes" Cyphert who passed in 2012. Carol and her husband owned and operated Center Line Tool in Freeport. For many years, Carol was a care giver to her mother. Carol enjoyed painting and antique shopping. She was a member of New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg and was an active church member. She had taught Sunday school, organized bible study groups, and sang in the choir. Her greatest joy was her family and always going to her grandchildren's activities and sporting events. Carol is survived by her sons Sean T. (Jodi) Cyphert, of Slate Lick; Craig A. (Michele) Cyphert, of Winfield Twp.; Todd M. (Loretta) Cyphert, of South Buffalo Twp. and her adopted son, Ger (Laureen) Kehoe, of Cleveland, OH. Grandchildren, Noah Thomas, Haleigh Donne, Dean Michael, Nicholas Wesley, Heather Lynn, Sara Marie, Sidney Grace, Clayton Allen, Victoria Paige, and Conor Patrick. Carol is also survived by her sister, Patricia Feder, of Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother-in-law, Paul Feder.  Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 29th from 4-7 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 30th at 10 am in the New Life Christian Ministries Church in Saxonburg, with Pastor Chris Marshall, officiating. Burial will be held in Sarverville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
