Carole J. Jack, 89, of Buffalo Twp., passed away on Friday, April 9th, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Carole was born in Natrona Heights, on June 27, 1931, a daughter of the late Matilda (Thompson) and John Robert Ekas. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. She was a clerk and mail carrier for the Freeport Post Office for over 25 years. She enjoyed quilting, going to her camp in Franklin and spending time with her family. Carole is survived by her husband of 68 years, Walter P. Jack Sr.; two daughters, Cathi Cooper, of Sarver and Paula Cline, of Sarver; three sons Walter P. Jack, Jr., of PIttsburgh; Jay Jack, of Freeport and David Jack, of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Kim Cooper, Jack (Lorraine) Cooper, Steven Cooper, Matt (Seaneen) Cline, Chelsea Cline, Danielle (John) Nagurney, Daria (fiance Matt Price) Jack & Sean (Lindsay Wolfe) Jack; and 7 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Prascsak and son-in-law, Fred Cline. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, April 18th at 1:00 pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.
