Cecilia “Sis” B. (Nowikowski) Corgnati

Cecilia B. "Sis"  Corgnati, 93, of the Butler Junction section of Freeport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Sis was born in Natrona Heights, on September 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Bessie (Tucholski) and John Nowikowski. She was the widow of Felix M. "Wimp" Corgnati, who passed away in 2023. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. Sis enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, and taking care of her kids.

Sis is survived by her daughter, Donna (Keith) Blackburn, of Sarver;  two sons, Terry Corgnati, of Indiana, PA and John Corgnati, of Buffalo Twp. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer L. (Shane) Fox, Christopher L. Corgnati, Amy Blackburn and Travis Adamsky; great grandchildren, Silas, Chay, Sean & Kentleight; and her sisters, Honey and Loretta and brother Edju.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson Brian, great grandson Cody, and 3 brothers, John, George and Raymond.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport with Father Vincent Concepcion officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeport.
