Charlotte D. (Richards) Keener

Charlotte D. Keener, 76, of South Buffalo Twp., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Charlotte was born in Natrona Heights on November 28, 1945, a daughter of the late Russell and Jean (Zbrzyski) Richards. She was a 1963 graduate of Har-Brack High School. Charlotte worked for a number of years at Carson Industries in South Buffalo Twp. Charlotte enjoyed playing cards, cross stitching, playing games on her computer, and especially spending time with her family. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 52 years, Keith G. Keener; three sons Brian (Lisa) Keener, of Worthington; Thomas Keener, of South Buffalo Twp.; and Greg (Megan) Keener, of Fawn Twp.; three grandchildren, Dylan, Drew and Evelyn. Charlotte is also survived by nine siblings, Dolores (George) Felsing. Phyllis Reed, Geraldine Graby, Marlene (Joel) Carpenter, Joe Richards, Keith (Renee) Richards, Russell (Vera) Richards, Jimmy (Mary Lou) Richards and Jack (Karen) Richards. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Robert Richards, Dolly Richards, Mary Jean Fagen, and Helen Mack. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 17th at Cornerstone Baptist Bible Church 386 Iron Bridge Rd. in Freeport, PA with Pastor Patrick Baggett officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Airy Cemetery Natrona Heights, PA.
