Chris "Quimby" "Q-Paw" Kuras, 52, of Winfield Twp., passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Natrona Heights, on October 21, 1972, a son of the late Sylvia (Eldridge) and Charles F. Kuras. He was a 1992 graduate of Freeport High School. He was employed as a transportation specialist at Richie's Transfer for 14 years. He later went on to become a clerk and cashier at several gas stations in the area. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver. Quimby enjoyed fishing, going to concerts, geocaching and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Paula C. (Cravener) Kuras; his daughter, Freedom Kuras; granddaughter Alizayah Kuras; and his pet, Lucy the bird. He is also survived by four sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Smith and his nephew Charlie, Brenda Bowman, Lori (Charlie) Cornmesser and Lexey (Ricky) Fair, and two brothers, Raymond Bowman and John (Lori) Kuras.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother Pauline Menosky, step mother Shirley Kuras, and brother Chuck Kuras.
There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
