Cindy A. (Rusz) Black

Cindy A. Black, 62, of Freeport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 8, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. She was born in Natrona Heights on August 21, 1959, a daughter of the late Lois J. (Brown) and Ernest D. Rusz. Cindy was a 1977 graduate of Freeport Area High School and worked for many years as a certified nurses aid. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family and caring for her grandson. Cindy is survived by her daughter, Nicole Taladay of Ford City. Son, Joshua Farr, of Freeport. Grandchildren, Myranda Neal & fiancé Nathaniel McIlwain, Mason Taladay and Joey Farr. Great grand daughters, Delilah & Prezleigh. Cindy is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Eshenbaugh, of Freeport. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald & Gary Rusz and her sister, Diane Rusz. Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 11th from 4-7pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation Monday at 7pm with Pastor Adam Clever officiating. A private immediate family burial will be held at Mt. Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.
