Cindy R. (Gamble) Harbison

Cindy R. Harbison, 67, of Freeport, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Cindy was born in Allegheny Twp., Westmoreland Co. on April 21, 1954, a daughter of the late Regina (Palyszeski) and Homer J. Gamble. She was a 1972 graduate of Kiski High School. Cindy was an active member of St. Mary's Parish, serving as the social hall coordinator and very involved with all restoration work at the church. She enjoyed antique hunting/shopping and spending time with her family. Cindy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jody G. Harbison. Son, Anthony (Leigh) Harbison, of Cabot; 2 grandchildren, Cooper and Lucy. Cindy is also survived by five sisters, Regina "Sis" (Harry) Crytzer, of Buffalo Twp.; Elizabeth "Doll" DeLeon, of Florida; Carol (Bert) Micholas, of Freeport; Donna (Wayne) Brown, of Allegheny Twp.; Karen Gamble, of Freeport. Three brothers, Homer "Sonny" Gamble, of Buffalo Twp.; Donald E. (Ethel) Gamble, of Allegheny Twp.; Robert E. (Cathy) Gamble, of Huntsville, AL. In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Huth. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 8th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, December 9th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA with Msgr. Gilbert Gente and co-celebrant Rev. Edward Volz, OPS officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Mother of God Church 608 High St. Freeport, PA 16229.
