Clarence E. Moore, 92, of Sarver, PA, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, peacefully, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Clarence was born in the Camp Jo-Ann section of New Kensington on September 3, 1930, a son of the late Elizabeth (Huston) and George Moore. He was a 1948 graduate of Ken High Trade School. After graduating he took a job with Construction & General Laborers Local No 1451 and worked for the union for 65 years. Clarence enjoyed hunting, casino trips, scratch off tickets, building and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church Freeport, PA 16229. Clarence is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret A. (Sustak) Moore. Two sons, Joseph Moore and Diana Sarver Baer, of Robinson Twp.; LtCol (Ret) Brian and Lisa Moore, of Alexandria, VA and his daughter, Beth Ann and John Shepherd, of Buffalo Twp. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sherry, Christopher, Jonathan, Allison, Sarah, Hannah, Emma and two great grandchildren Rorion & Elodie. Clarence is preceded in death by his sisters, Anna Rubright and Peg Middleby. His five brothers, George, Samuel, John, Ronald, and Thomas Moore. Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St., in Freeport, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, November 15th at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport, PA with Msgr. Gilbert Gente officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery Freeport, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Mother of God Church 608 High St. Freeport, PA 16229.
